BIT Computer has been the leader in the medical information industry since its foundation in 1983, providing a broad range of medical system solutions.

BIT Computer was established as Korea´s first college student venture company with total capital of 4.5 million Won (Korean) and two employees. BIT Computer has been highly regarded in the aspects of technology, growth, potential, and expandability. BIT Computer went public in July 1997, and the company´s stocks are being traded on the Korean Securities Dealer Automated Quotation System (KOSDAQ).
BIT Computer began operating in 1983 as a software company during the time in which the word "software" was unfamiliar to most of people. We, BIT, first developed a program for insurance reimbursement system, which has eventually led us to specialize in the medical information systems for the last 17 years with 150 medical solutions. Furthermore, BIT Computer has established a subsidiary training center, which brought out more than 4,000 IT professionals to the industry since 1990, and it has developed itself as an institute that supplies highly skilled programmers for domestic software industry.
