National Drugs & Chemicals Est. in 1980 by Mr. VIMAL SHAH, having a knowledge of Pharmaceutical Industry and being a Family Business of Manufacturing Ampilicin in INDIA, and having expertise in Starch Industry, he decide to start a Starch Industry at Vapi - Gujarat.His expertise were to Manufacture Specialty Chemicals from Starch and to sell it in INDIAN market as it was imported from Germany & US., It was the first company to Manufacture Starch Soluble from Potatoes in INDIA and the product was first approved by German Remedies Ltd and then by Merck India Ltd.National Drugs & Chemicals went in to Manufacturing of Bulk Drugs & Contrast Media as it was in very high demand, The product known as Barium Meal, Barium Swallow & Barium Sulfate was introduce in the market, having Distributors throughout INDIA. The product was approved by Top-most Radiologist in Bombay "Dr. JHANKARI and Hospitals like Harkison-Das, Cumballa Hill, Bombay, Apollo and Government Institutions / Organizations.National Drugs & Chemicals went in the Production of Choline Dihydrogen Citrate which was only being Manufactured by us in INDIA at that time, the product was approved by Cynamid India Ltd which is now Wyeth Ltd and later on it was being exported to other parts of the World.National Drugs & Chemicals is know for its Quality Standards, Our Manufacturing Facility is located at Vapi-Gujarat, West coast of INDIA, with Hi-Tech modern Machineries & Equipments, Our Facility is Certified by Food & Drug Control Administration Department.
